Summer Fridays

Ever since our grammar-school days, summer has meant relaxation and recharging – and conjures images of beaches, BBQ, road trips, the great outdoors and good times.

This summer has been a little bit…well…different.

So now more than ever, we need to look after our work-life balance, and put ourselves in position to be inspired and productive. Not only has COVID-19 brought added anxiety, but with all of us spending more time at home and online, our clients and colleagues are reporting increased traffic, more business and, ultimately, more work for growth teams. And don’t even get me started on the pressures that accompany the recently delayed Amazon Prime Day.

At Round Barn Labs, we understand that productivity is all about balance. So to achieve our goal of providing clients with world-class customer service, we have to make the well-being of our people our first priority.

We believe that to be able to do our best work for our clients, we need to enter each week rested and recharged. And the same goes for the ebbs and flows we experience over the course of a year.

That’s why I’m so excited that one of the great things to come out of the RBL virtual offsite was a new initiative:

Summer Fridays!

Every Friday, we’ll wrap up our week in the morning and halt work at 1pm.

Laptops, recruiting, Qualitative Customer Analysis, activation, creative design, A/B testing, Google algorithm, attribution, and budget management will give way to campfires, fishing, RVs, hikes, golf, swimming, exploring, and more time with family and friends.

Even though 2020 has been tough, we can help one another to be resilient, to continue growing and to reach new heights. We hope that you and yours can also find time to step away, put your phone on silent, and achieve some balance in the moment.

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Why it matters: As you devise your landing experiences, make sure you ask questions of your customers to drive better conversion. You can do this through:

  • Unordered list item 1
  • Unordered list item 2
  • Unordered list item 3
  • Unordered list item 4
  1. Ordered list item 1
  2. Ordered list item 2
  3. Ordered list item 3
  4. Ordered list item 4

That's it! 👊 we'll add some stuff in the weeks to come. Thanks for taking this journey with us and sharing your inbox with us!
